Supporting the
Rochester Oratorio Society

Annual Support

Audition Sponsor: $25
Sponsor a worthy candidate to sing with the ROS. Many choruses across the U.S. charge an audition fee. The ROS does not. We want to be open to as many worthy candidates as possible. There are costs associated with each audition. Your support at this level will help defray these costs so that we may encourage new singers to join us.

Music Sponsor: $50
While our members bear the cost of their music throughout the year, there are many occasions when we must purchase music for general use, or pay royalties for music sung in our performances. Your support at this level will allow us to purchase a broad array of music and pay our royalty fees.

Rehearsal Sponsor: $75
We rehearse once each week during the performance season. A sponsorship at this level will cover the cost of one rehearsal at Asbury Fellowship Hall. Your sponsorship will be noted in our weekly newsletter.

Patron Sponsor: $100
Patron support is the foundation that sustains the ROS each year. Your support at this level enables us to pay our accompanist.

Enterprise Sponsor: $101-$250
Enterprise sponsors enable the ROS to care for the administrative aspects of managing the Society. Like many organizations we must keep the lights on and the insurances paid.

Brochure Sponsor: $251-$500
Brochure sponsors enable the ROS to defray some of the cost of producing our annual brochure which is used throughout the year to promote the ROS.

Program Sponsor: $501-$1000
Program Sponsors are recognized in the program books we produce for each of our performances. These books are vital to the satisfaction of our audience in the important information they contain about our work.

Production Sponsor: $1001+
Our Production Sponsors help with the costs of producing our work. For their generosity they receive two tickets to a performance of their choice and appropriate recognition in a program book.

For more information on supporting our work, please contact Terrence C. Finegan, Development Director, at (585) 473-4704 or tfinegan@ROSsings.org.

Corporate Support

Corporate Sponsors are invited to advertise in our Program Books at very competitive rates. Click here to download our Program Ad Template (74 KB PDF), which provides the pricing and sizing of ads in our three program books each year. (One program book is produced for each half of the performance season, and one program book is produced for Classical Idol.)

We have also constructed an Underwriting Package for corporations for each of our performances. This package provides tremendous audience, and community exposure and benefits to a corporations’ employees and customers.

For details, please contact Terrence Finegan, Development Director, at (585) 473-4704 or tfinegan@ROSsings.org.

Long Term Support

The Rochester Oratorio Society is fortunate to have a small Endowment Portfolio managed by the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF). Gifts to the Endowment are held in perpetuity, supporting our work each year by the income they provide. Click here to make a gift to the Endowment Fund directly on the Community Foundation's website, or call (585) 271-4100 for other ways to contribute.

The Community Foundation also offers a Pooled Life Income Fund and a Charitable Gift Annuity Fund for those who would like to make a long term, planned gift to the ROS. These funds allow for income distributions to the benefactors during their life. Principal reverts to the Endowment Fund at passing.

Legacy gifts through your will are always appreciated and recognized.
